  • Police used non-lethal force to try to subdue Coderre, but these attempts were unsuccessful.
  • An Acushnet officer was wounded in the leg during the exchange of gunfire, but was treated and released from hospital.
  • The incident is under investigation by the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
