Former NBA G-League Player and Ex-Girlfriend Charged with Murder

Chance Comanche and Sakari Harnden Allegedly Strangled Marayna Rodgers in Las Vegas Over Rolex Dispute

Former NBA G-League player Chance Comanche and his ex-girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, planned and executed the murder of Marayna Rodgers, a medical assistant from Washington, in Las Vegas.
Comanche and Harnden lured Rodgers to her death under the pretense of a double date, and strangled her with an HDMI cord in their car.
The murder was allegedly over a dispute about a Rolex watch and occurred while Comanche was in Las Vegas for a game with his team, the Stockton Kings.
Comanche and Harnden were charged with open murder and conspiracy to commit murder, with Harnden also facing charges of first-degree kidnapping and felony theft.
Comanche was released from the Stockton Kings following his arrest.
