• Modeling agency Modus Vivendis confirmed on Aug. 13 that Alexandrova died on Aug. 12 from injuries sustained in a July 5 collision in Tver Oblast.
• She was in the passenger seat when an elk jumped onto the M9, smashed through the windshield and struck her head, according to her husband's account to Russian media.
• Bystanders called for help, emergency crews arrived in about 15 minutes, and she was treated first in Rzhev before transfer to Moscow’s Sklifosovsky Institute for intensive care.
