Former Miami QB Tyler Van Dyke Commits to Wisconsin

Former Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has committed to the Wisconsin Badgers, following his announcement on Nov. 27 that he was entering the transfer portal.
Van Dyke, who spent four seasons with the Hurricanes, appeared in 30 total games, throwing for 7,469 yards, 54 touchdowns and 23 interceptions.
Van Dyke's move to Wisconsin comes as the team is in need of a quarterback, with Tanner Mordecai having used up his eligibility and Braedyn Locke having only three starts to his name.
Despite his struggles in the 2023 season, Van Dyke is expected to have a leading position in the team's quarterback competition this spring.
Van Dyke's experience will be valuable for the Badgers as they navigate a tough 2024 season, with matchups against Alabama, USC, Penn State, and Oregon.
