Former Kidderminster Teacher Jailed for Three Years Over 1980s Indecent Assaults

David Wilkinson, 77, of Vinsac, Le Vigeant, France, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court for three indecent-assault convictions.
The judge imposed 18 months each on two counts to run consecutively and 18 months on a third to run concurrently, totaling three years.
He will serve up to half the term in custody with the remainder on licence.
A jury in September convicted him on three counts and acquitted him on nine others, including rape, buggery and making indecent photographs.
The complainant delivered a victim impact statement describing grooming and lasting harm, while the defence sought mitigation based on age, health and the relationship being known.
