Darren John Berry, who was found in the same room with critical injuries, has been charged with her murder.
Berry, a former kickboxer known as 'Hacksaw,' was treated for cuts to his arms at Westmead Hospital.
The police investigation involved the Nepean Police Area Command and the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
Berry was denied bail during a bedside court hearing and is scheduled to appear in Penrith Local Court.
