Former Kansas State QB Will Howard Transfers to Ohio State

Howard, with one year of eligibility left, is expected to be the favorite to start for the Buckeyes in 2024.

Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard has committed to transfer to Ohio State, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a dual-threat ability.
Howard led Kansas State to the Big 12 title in 2022 and has started 27 games in his career, throwing for 48 touchdowns and 5,786 yards, and running for 19 additional touchdowns.
Howard's best statistical season was in 2023, when he completed 61.3% of his passes and finished the year with 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Howard will be a fifth-year senior with one year of eligibility remaining and is expected to be the favorite to start for Ohio State in 2024.
Howard chose Ohio State over Miami and USC, and also considered heading to the NFL, but ultimately decided that Ohio State was the best place to compete for a national championship and improve his NFL draft stock.
