Gleaton Jones, a former walk-on running back for the Georgia Bulldogs, died on December 13, 2024, at age 21 following a car crash on December 10 in Florida.
Jones sustained a severe brain injury during the accident and underwent emergency surgery but remained in critical condition before passing away in the ICU.
He was a member of Georgia's 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship team and was set to graduate with a marketing degree in spring 2025.
Known for his vibrant personality and strong faith, Jones was deeply cherished by his family, friends, and fraternity members, leaving behind a legacy of joy and kindness.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for December 16, 2024, at Wynfield Plantation, with tributes pouring in from the Georgia Bulldogs community and beyond.
