Former FedEx Driver Sentenced for Firearms Theft

Receives six-day prison term and three years of supervised release for selling stolen guns.

Frank P. O’Toole, a former FedEx driver from Middleborough, Massachusetts, was sentenced to six days in prison for stealing and selling three firearms from packages.
The sentence includes three years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.
O'Toole pleaded guilty to two counts of possession or sale of a stolen firearm, after selling the stolen guns to an undercover agent.
Prosecutors had recommended a 10-month prison sentence, but the judge sentenced O'Toole to time served.
The stolen firearms were intended for a Federal Firearms Licensee and included two rifles and a shotgun.
