Former FCS Star Reese Poffenbarger Transfers to Miami

Poffenbarger led the FCS in passing yards (3,603) and passing touchdowns (36) in 2023, helping Albany achieve an 11-4 record and reach the FCS playoffs semifinals.
The quarterback began his career at Old Dominion and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Miami is looking to replace three-year starter Tyler Van Dyke, who transferred to Wisconsin, and Poffenbarger will compete with three other scholarship quarterbacks for playing time.
