Overview

• Three former props department members filed suit May 30 in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and negligent hiring and seeking unspecified damages.
• The complaint accuses assistant prop master Tyler Patton of an “unchecked campaign” of crude comments, explicit texts and unwanted touching toward female crewmembers.
• Plaintiffs say Disney’s HR and senior production were informed of the misconduct but took no action before terminating Tyler Patton and then laying off the entire props department in what they describe as retaliation.
• The lawsuit cites Patton’s prior harassment allegations on Fox’s House production and claims the plaintiffs have since been blacklisted from Disney and 20th Television projects.
• Doctor Odyssey, starring Joshua Jackson and produced by 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Television, remains the only ABC drama still awaiting a renewal decision.
