Former College Football Star Charged with Double Murder

Blaise Taylor, a former college football star and NFL scout, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his girlfriend, Jade Benning, and her unborn child.
Taylor is accused of poisoning Benning in February 2023, leading to her death and that of their five-month-old fetus.
Following the indictment by a Nashville grand jury, Taylor was arrested in Utah, where he had moved after the deaths.
Taylor's arrest has led to his suspension from his recent role as an analyst at Texas A&M, where his father, Trooper Taylor, serves as an associate head coach.
Authorities are working to extradite Taylor back to Nashville to face the charges.
