Former Co-Stars Michael Cera and Aubrey Plaza Almost Wed in Vegas as a Joke

Michael Cera and Aubrey Plaza dated for over a year while filming Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in 2010.
They planned to spontaneously marry in Las Vegas just to immediately divorce so they could call each other "my ex-husband" and "my ex-wife" at a young age.
Though the wedding never actually happened, Plaza and Cera remained good friends and will voice their characters again in an upcoming Netflix anime series based on the film.
Cera and Plaza have since married other partners, with Plaza wedding Jeff Baena in 2021 and Cera calling Nadine Cera his spouse since 2017.
