Overview

• Michael Underwood hosted hit children’s shows such as Jungle Run, Ministry of Mayhem and Xchange in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
• Facing dwindling presenting offers, he enrolled in a drama teaching program to apply his broadcast skills to education.
• Underwood started teaching drama part-time at Surbiton High Boy’s Prep School and became a form teacher in 2019.
• In September 2024 he took up a full-time teaching post at King’s College School in Wimbledon.
• Influenced by a family background in childcare and married to fellow presenter Angellica Bell, he now lives in Kingston-upon-Thames with their two children.
