Former B.C. MLA Dan Coulter Dies at 49 Following Medical Emergency

Dan Coulter, former BC NDP MLA for Chilliwack, passed away at 49 after a serious medical emergency last week.
Coulter served as Parliamentary Secretary for Accessibility and Minister of State for Infrastructure and Transit during his tenure from 2020 to 2024.
He was known for championing the underdog and advocating for workers and communities across British Columbia.
A private memorial service will be held on December 14, and a public service is scheduled for January 11 in Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, Coulter's family has requested donations to local charities, including the Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association.
