Former 5-Star QB Recruit Dante Moore Transfers from UCLA to Oregon

Joins Dillon Gabriel in bolstering Oregon's quarterback lineup, setting the stage for strong competition in the expanded College Football Playoff.

Dante Moore, a former 5-star QB recruit, has committed to transfer from UCLA to Oregon, joining the Ducks with three more years of eligibility remaining.
Moore was the No. 3 overall quarterback in the class of 2023 and appeared in nine games during the 2023 campaign for the Bruins, completing 53.5 percent of his passes for 1,610 yards, 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Former Oklahoma quarterback Dillon Gabriel also transferred to Oregon earlier this offseason, and is expected to start given his veteran status.
Moore's transfer provides high-upside competition and important depth for Oregon, especially as they head into a 2024 schedule that includes matchups against Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington and UCLA.
With the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams next season, Oregon's securing of a quarterback succession plan with Moore and Gabriel will help them compete for those coveted playoff spots for years to come.
