- Arrivals from Colombia (36,100), Morocco (25,000) and Venezuela (21,600) were the largest migrant cohorts between April and June 2025.
- Population rose in every autonomous community and in Ceuta but fell in Melilla, with Aragón (0.91%), Comunitat Valenciana (0.50%) and Illes Balears (0.42%) posting the biggest gains.
- Sustained immigration has become Spain’s primary counter to low fertility and an aging native populace, reshaping debates on housing, labor markets and social services.
