Ford's EV Sales Surge in November, F-150 Lightning Leads

Despite a rise in electric and hybrid vehicle sales, overall sales drop due to slump in combustion vehicles.

Ford Motor Co reported a 43.2% increase in electric vehicle sales in the U.S. in November, selling a total of 8,958 units.
The best-selling EV was the all-electric F-150 Lightning truck, with sales jumping 113% to 4,393 units.
Hybrid vehicle sales also saw a significant increase, with a 75.2% surge to 12,108 units.
Despite the rise in EV and hybrid sales, overall sales for Ford dropped by 0.5% due to a slump in combustion vehicle sales.
Production scaled in November to 205,085 units after a tentative agreement was reached with the United Auto Workers union, ending a strike that lasted over a month.
