Ford to Provide Free Adapters for Tesla Supercharger Access

Move Marks Major Step in Transition to Tesla's North American Charging Standard

Ford CEO Jim Farley announced that the company will provide free adapters for Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning owners to access Tesla’s Supercharger network.
Ford was the first automaker to announce it would adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector in its future electric vehicles.
The adapters will allow Ford EV owners to access Tesla's extensive Supercharger network, which is considered the most developed and reliable in the world.
Ford and other automakers are expected to start releasing vehicles with the NACS connector built in from 2025.
Eligible Ford EV owners can reserve their complimentary adapter starting this spring.
