Overview
- Ford Philippines has launched the Territory Hybrid in Trend (PhP 1,399,000) and Titanium X (PhP 1,599,000) trims with nationwide dealership displays and introductory incentives.
- Its 1.5 L turbo engine, two-speed hybrid transmission and 1.83 kWh lithium-ion battery deliver 218 PS, 315 Nm and a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 8.5 seconds without plug-in charging.
- BYD’s Sealion 6 DM-i pairs a 194 hp electric motor and 18.3 kWh Blade battery with a 105 hp petrol generator in a range-extended hybrid for EV-first operation.
- Both SUVs share six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist and a 360° camera, while the Territory Titanium X adds adaptive cruise control, lane keeping aid, blind spot monitoring and autonomous emergency braking.
- The Territory Titanium X features a 12-inch touchscreen, eight-speaker Arkamys audio, 185 mm ground clearance and a space-saver spare tire, compared with the Sealion 6’s 15.6-inch rotating display, ten speakers, 173 mm clearance and tire-repair kit.
