  • Eighteen dogs, including puppies, were recovered at the property and turned over to Cook County Animal Control.
  • Jason Thomas, 49, was charged with manufacturing or delivery of cocaine, cocaine possession, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
  • Jermaine Thomas, 49, was charged with four counts of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon, and both men were ordered held at Cook County Jail after initial court appearances Friday.
