Foo Fighters Announce Veteran Drummer Josh Freese as Successor to Late Taylor Hawkins

Freese is a seasoned session drummer who has played with many rock bands, including Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails, and Weezer.
Freese performed with the band during Hawkins tribute shows and requested to play on Hawkins' kit.
Foo Fighters will embark on their first tour since Hawkins' death, with Freese playing his first show on May 24.
The announcement was made via a livestream on the band's website.
Freese also played the drums at the two memorial concerts for Hawkins in September 2022.
