FOM Poll Finds Strong Approval for Putin, United Russia Leading in Hypothetical Duma Vote

The findings come from FOM’s Dec. 12–14 face-to-face survey of 1,500 adults across 51 regions.

Overview

81% of respondents rate Vladimir Putin’s work positively, with 78% saying they trust him, 8% judging his work poorly, and 12% expressing distrust.
54% say the Russian government works rather well, while 26% report dissatisfaction with the cabinet’s performance.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s work is viewed positively by 58% of respondents, and 11% say they disapprove.
In a hypothetical State Duma vote, United Russia draws 42% support, followed by LDPR at 10%, CPRF at 8%, New People at 4%, and A Just Russia at 4%.
The weekly FOMnibus poll used at-home interviews in 97 localities and reports a margin of error up to 3.6%, with results published by RIA Novosti.
