Despite rookie Leo Carlsson's first career hat trick, the Philadelphia Flyers triumphed over the Anaheim Ducks with a 6-3 victory. Carlsson, the second overall pick in June’s NHL draft, became the sixth-youngest NHL player with a three-goal game over the past 30 years.

The Flyers' victory came after a challenging period, having lost five of their previous six games. The Ducks, on the other hand, have now lost two consecutive games following a six-game winning streak.
Flyers' goaltender Sam Ersson made 35 saves during the game, while Ducks' goalie Lukas Dostal stopped 30 shots. Despite the loss, Ducks' Alex Killorn had two assists.
The Flyers will remain in Southern California to face the Los Angeles Kings next, while the Ducks will host the San Jose Sharks.
