Florida Woman's 911 'Pizza' Call Thwarts Attempted Rape

A quick-thinking Florida woman used a coded 911 call to escape an alleged rapist, leading to the arrest of an illegal immigrant.

During the early hours of October 19, a Florida woman called 911 pretending to order a pizza to discreetly report an attempted rape.
The alleged attacker, Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, was found on top of the woman in a field by Volusia County deputies.
Hernandez-Moncayo, who had applied for asylum the day before, is in the U.S. illegally and faces charges of attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment.
The victim and suspect initially intended to have drinks, but the situation escalated when Hernandez-Moncayo became violent after using cocaine.
Authorities were able to locate the victim using phone triangulation, and the suspect is now detained with an immigration hold.
