Florida Woman Poses as Teen to Prey on Middle Schoolers
Alyssa Ann Zinger, 22, allegedly used Snapchat to lure victims, engaging in at least 30 sexual acts with one student and sharing explicit videos with others.
- Alyssa Ann Zinger, a 22-year-old woman from Florida, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of lewd or lascivious battery, and five felony counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a victim aged 12 to 15.
- Zinger allegedly posed as a 14-year-old homeschooled child on social media, primarily Snapchat, to prey on middle schoolers from Wilson Middle School in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
- According to the police, Zinger engaged in at least 30 sexual acts with at least one student and shared explicit videos with several others.
- Zinger was caught shoplifting from a Nordstrom department store in Tampa in July, where she identified herself as a 14-year-old. Her real identity was later confirmed by her employer, a Publix grocery store in Tampa.
- Zinger has pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released from jail on the day of her arrest after posting a $7,500 bond.
