• The attempted abduction unfolded on June 29 at around 3:30 p.m. when 31-year-old Theodore Tundidor robbed a store in St. Augustine and dragged an employee toward his stolen pickup.
• Surveillance footage released by the sheriff’s office shows the woman fighting back and screaming, which attracted a bystander who called 911 and prompted the suspect to flee.
• Florida Fish and Wildlife officers stopped Tundidor for reckless driving about 10 miles south of the scene and arrested him after confirming his identity.
