Florida Woman Charged in Murder-for-Hire Plot Against Microsoft Executive Ex-Husband

Shanna Gardner and her current husband allegedly conspired with a hitman to kill Jared Bridegan over child custody disputes.

Prosecutors claim Gardner and Mario Fernandez offered $150,000 to Henry Tenon to carry out the murder.
Bridegan was shot in front of his car after encountering a staged tire obstruction on a secluded road.
Gardner allegedly sent texts expressing her desire to see Bridegan dead and discussed plans with friends.
Their 2-year-old daughter was in the car during the shooting but was unharmed.
Tenon has pleaded guilty and agreed to testify against Gardner and Fernandez.
