Florida Teacher Arrested for Punching Autistic Student

Prechae Rodriguez, a behavior support teacher at Eisenhower Exceptional Center, was arrested for allegedly punching a non-verbal, autistic 9-year-old student in the face.
The incident occurred on February 8, when the student reportedly hit Rodriguez with his hand, leading to the alleged assault.
Rodriguez was charged with one count of child abuse and was released on bail after being arrested at his home in Sun City Center.
Following the investigation, Rodriguez was terminated from his position at the school.
