Barkov's Absence Could Impact Upcoming Games Against Edmonton, Boston, and Winnipeg

Aleksander Barkov, Florida Panthers center, is listed as day-to-day after a knee-to-knee collision during a game against the Anaheim Ducks.
The collision occurred on Friday, November 17, 2023, and initially, Anaheim's Jackson LaCombe was assessed a 5-minute major penalty which was later downgraded to a 2-minute minor for tripping.
Barkov won't play in the upcoming game on Monday when the Panthers open a three-game homestand against Edmonton.
If Barkov misses the entire homestand, he will also be out for games on Wednesday against Boston and Friday against Winnipeg.
Barkov is in his 11th season with the Panthers and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played (680), goals (249), and points (648).
