Florida Mother Faces Murder Charge After Allegedly Drowning Teen Daughter in Bathtub

Kelsey Glover, 35, was arrested following a violent incident in her home where witnesses claim she killed her 14-year-old daughter and attacked others with a hammer.

Witnesses told police they saw Kelsey Glover holding her daughter Giselle's head underwater in a bathtub at their Poinciana home on November 20, 2024.
Deputies arrived during the incident, disarmed Glover of a hammer she was allegedly using to attack others who tried to intervene, and arrested her at the scene.
Giselle Glover, 14, was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival; the medical examiner confirmed drowning as the cause of death and ruled it a homicide.
Kelsey Glover is currently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery, with first-degree murder charges now added following the medical examiner's findings.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office has launched a full homicide investigation, while authorities continue to probe Glover's motive and background, noting no prior criminal or mental health history.
