Florida Mother Charged with Murder After Alleged Exorcism Kills 6-Year-Old Son

Investigators say Paulynice believed a divine voice ordered her to expel demons from her son; she remains in custody as the autopsy determines his cause of death.

St. Lucie County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the suspicious death of a 6-year-old child in the 2500 block of Bedford Drive after the child hadn’t shown up to school for about two weeks, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
