Florida Mom's Sting Leads to Police Shooting of Alleged Predator

An 18-year-old was shot by police after a mother confronted him for allegedly sexting her 13-year-old daughter.

Posing as her daughter, the mother arranged a meeting at a Popeyes in Jacksonville, Florida.
Banks allegedly brandished a gun and threatened the mother, prompting her to call the police.
Police arrived and, after Banks ignored commands to surrender, shot him as he attempted to flee.
Banks faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault and lewd conduct with a minor, and is held on a $700,018 bond.
