A Florida man used his truck to save a neighbor from an 11-foot alligator, preventing a potentially fatal attack.

Neighbor Walter Rudder intervened by running over the alligator with his truck, forcing it to release Fingeret.
Fingeret sustained injuries and was hospitalized but is currently recovering.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission captured and relocated the alligator.
