Florida man Joshua D. Pavao, 43, is facing over 100 felony charges related to firearms and high-capacity magazines following a shooting and police chase in East Providence, Rhode Island.
Pavao was initially arrested and made bail on charges brought by East Providence police, but was subsequently taken into custody by Coventry police on additional charges.
The charges include modifying semi-automatic weapons, possessing short-barrel rifles, and possessing high-capacity magazines.
During the police chase, Pavao's vehicle crashed, spilling numerous loaded gun magazines and hundreds of rounds of ammunition onto the road.
