Florida Man Arrested After Hours-Long Walgreens Junk Food Binge

Christopher Morgan hid in a Walgreens restroom for five hours before raiding the store for snacks and cigarettes.

Morgan entered the store in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, around 9:40 p.m. and stayed in the restroom until 2:40 a.m.
He consumed various items including Tostitos spinach dip, Reese’s chocolate, Ghirardelli chocolate bars, and Dr. Pepper.
Police responded to an alarm and found Morgan taking a pack of cigarettes from behind the counter.
Morgan resisted arrest, spat on an officer, and now faces multiple charges including burglary and larceny.
He has a history of similar offenses, with two prior convictions for larceny-petit theft.
