The massive pie commemorated the establishment of Monroe County in 1823.
Key lime pie is an important part of the Florida Keys' cultural heritage and was named Florida's official pie in 2006.
The pie featured a graham cracker crust, whipped cream topping and juice from thousands of Key limes.
The celebration highlighted Florida's recent legislative action on divisive issues like abortion, gender and gun rights as well as the acquittal of a deputy accused of wrongdoing.
