Florida Gators have fired co-defensive coordinator Sean Spencer and secondary coach Corey Raymond after a disappointing 5-7 season finish.
Under Spencer and Raymond, the Gators' defense ranked 122nd in the nation in yards allowed per play and managed just three interceptions.
Both Spencer and Raymond had impressive careers before joining the Gators, with Spencer previously working with the New York Giants and Raymond developing first-round NFL draft picks at LSU.
The Gators' poor performance this season has led to them missing out on being bowl-eligible for the first time since 2017.
Head coach Billy Napier, who is now 11-14 in his two seasons at Florida, is expected to be under pressure going into the 2024 season.
