"Flash" star Grant Gustin will commence performances in the Broadway musical "Water for Elephants" alongside co-star Isabelle McCalla, starting February 2024, in a heartfelt romantic tale set in a travelling circus.
- Grant Gustin, known for his role as Barry Allen in 'The Flash', will make his Broadway debut in the musical adaptation of the Sara Gruen novel 'Water for Elephants' at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.
- Gustin will be playing the lead role of Jacob Jankowski, who recounts his life story and experiences in a travelling circus. He'll star alongside Isabelle McCalla, who will portray Marlena, a circus performer and Jacob's love interest.
- The 'Water for Elephants' cast also includes notable names such as Gregg Edelman, Paul Alexander Nolan, and Stan Brown. The musical is adapted by Rick Elice with music and lyrics by PigPen Theater Co., under the direction of Jessica Stone.
- Previews for 'Water for Elephants' will begin on February 24, 2024, before its official opening night on March 21, 2024.
