Flash Flooding Forces Closures at Joshua Tree as Monsoon Storms Persist

Park officials urge visitors to delay Labor Day trips due to ongoing risk of very heavy rain.

  • The National Weather Service warns of storms capable of very heavy rain and flash flooding, with showers possible through Thursday and additional thunderstorms forecast around Sept. 1.
