• A 48-player field is in place with 16 seeds receiving byes to round two, including Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and defending champion Dave Chisnall.
• Sixteen Pro Tour Order of Merit qualifiers and ten Tour Card qualifier winners have been confirmed, joined by Nordic & Baltic qualifier Johan Engström and East European qualifier Adam Gawlas.
• Four host-nation places will be decided on August 28 before the tournament draw finalizes first-round matchups.
