Five WHL Teams Compete to Host 2026 Memorial Cup

Four Canadian teams and one American team have submitted bids to host the prestigious junior hockey tournament.

The Brandon Wheat Kings, Kelowna Rockets, Lethbridge Hurricanes, Medicine Hat Tigers, and Spokane Chiefs are the contenders.
The selection committee will evaluate bids based on business operations, community engagement, event logistics, and hockey operations.
The winning bid will be announced in December 2024.
Hosting the Memorial Cup guarantees the host team a spot in the tournament.
The 2025 Memorial Cup will be held in Rimouski, Quebec, from May 22 to June 1.
