Five-Star Linebacker Sammy Brown Commits to Clemson, Heads Top 2024 Class

Five-star linebacker Sammy Brown committed to Clemson on Monday, becoming the Tigers' first five-star prospect in the Class of 2024.
Brown chose Clemson over offers from Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Oklahoma and is considered the No. 1 linebacker and No. 5 overall player in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.
Brown's commitment gives Clemson its first five-star recruit in the 2024 cycle and makes him the highest-ranked member of a class currently ranked 15th nationally by ESPN.
Clemson has developed a reputation for producing elite linebackers and has finished in the top 10 in total defense five times since 2016.
Though Brown is no longer allowed to visit other schools after committing to Clemson, Georgia may continue to pursue the star linebacker prospect from Georgia.
