Five-Star Basketball Recruit Ron Holland Decommits From University of Texas

Ron Holland, the No. 4 overall player and No. 1 power forward in the 2023 recruiting class, announced he was reopening his recruitment
Holland had originally committed to play college basketball for the University of Texas in November 2022.
Holland received offers from top programs like Kentucky, UCLA, Houston, Kansas, as well as the option to play professionally.
Though Holland decommitted, Texas remains in the running to sign the coveted recruit.
Holland impressed NBA scouts with his performance at the McDonald's All-American game last month.
