Overview

• A red hatchback (TS 07 HW 5858) carrying five Moinabad resort employees collided with a lorry near pillar 108 on the Outer Ring Road early Friday.
• The crash at about 3:26 a.m. between Pedda Amberpet and Bonguluru mangled the vehicle and trapped its occupants.
• Five occupants perished in the crash and one passenger was critically injured and hospitalized at Niladri Hospital.
• Heavy pre-dawn monsoon rain was reported to have impaired visibility at the time of the collision.
• Adibatla and Ibrahimpatnam police have registered a case and are tracing the lorry driver who fled the scene.
