- Five newborns who were treated in the IMSS Hospital General de Zona No. 1 neonatal intensive care unit died between Sept. 15 and Sept. 19, according to local reports and hospital statements.
- IMSS launched an integrated clinical and epidemiological review and federal teams from the Dirección General de Epidemiología, Cenaprece and Cofepris are on site to examine records, protocols and samples.
