Overview

• On June 22, five young men aged 18 to 24 from Bad Heilbrunn, Fischbachau, Kreuth, Neuburg an der Donau and Reichersbeuern were caught grilling at the Isarstausee in Wackersberg and received administrative citations.
• On June 21, an 80-year-old Munich resident alerted police after spotting four beachgoers setting up a disposable grill at the Eisweiher near Icking.
• On June 19, two men from Wolfratshausen and Prien am Chiemsee built a campfire from driftwood in the reserve’s Lenggries section before officers extinguished it.
• The Isarauen zwischen Schäftlarn und Bad Tölz nature reserve prohibits fire-making, grilling and smoking from March 1 to October 31 under Bavarian conservation law.
• Officers from the Wolfratshausen police station issued Ordnungswidrigkeitsanzeigen in each case and the Landratsamt Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen will determine the exact fines.
