Overview

• The crash occurred around 4:30 am near Exit 9 by Jharsa on the Delhi–Jaipur Expressway (NH‑48).
• Six people were in the black UP‑registered Mahindra Thar, with three women and three men among the occupants.
• Four died at the scene and a fifth died at the hospital, leaving one survivor in critical condition at Medanta Hospital.
• Gurugram Police recovered the wreckage and are using the vehicle registration and mobile phones to establish identities and contact families.
• Police have provisionally named the deceased as Pratishtha, Aditya, Gautam, Lavanya and Soni, with final identification and forensic findings pending.
