Five Injured in Stabbing at Croydon Distribution Centre

A suspect has been arrested following a knife attack near a supermarket in south London.

The stabbing occurred at the Sainsbury’s and Argos distribution centre on Marlowe Way, Beddington, Croydon, near an Asda supermarket.
Five people were injured, with one taken to a major trauma centre and four others transported to local hospitals; none of the injuries are life-threatening.
The attacker, who did not work at the distribution centre, was confronted and tackled by a security guard, who was among those injured.
Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance, responded to the scene shortly after 10:15 AM.
A suspect has been arrested, and a police cordon remains in place as investigations continue.
