Five Injured in Stabbing at Croydon Distribution Centre
A suspect has been arrested following a knife attack near a supermarket in south London.
- The stabbing occurred at the Sainsbury’s and Argos distribution centre on Marlowe Way, Beddington, Croydon, near an Asda supermarket.
- Five people were injured, with one taken to a major trauma centre and four others transported to local hospitals; none of the injuries are life-threatening.
- The attacker, who did not work at the distribution centre, was confronted and tackled by a security guard, who was among those injured.
- Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance, responded to the scene shortly after 10:15 AM.
- A suspect has been arrested, and a police cordon remains in place as investigations continue.
