Five, Including Three Children, Found Dead in Lake Station, Indiana Home

Police discovered the victims during a welfare check and have ruled the incident isolated with no public threat.

The bodies of five individuals, including three children under the age of 8, were found in a Lake Station, Indiana, trailer on Friday afternoon.
The victims were identified as Briana Payne, 27; Robert Payne, 31; and their three daughters, Aurorah, 7; Ava, 6; and Alayna, 4.
The deaths of Briana and the three children were ruled homicides caused by gunshot wounds, while Robert's cause of death remains under investigation.
Police were conducting a welfare check at the residence in the Mansard du Lac mobile home park when they discovered the bodies.
Authorities have stated that the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no ongoing threat to the public as the investigation continues.
